This group is focused on gentle exercises that everyone can get involved in!! It takes place on:
- Thursday 2.15pm-3pm
- Friday from 11.15am-12pm
Callanectics is a series of physical exercises based on small repeated movements. It uses small, gentle exercise movements, called pulses. They are done very slowly stretching and contracting the body’s largest muscle groups.
They reach deep into the muscles giving you a strong, firm body with no sudden jerking or impact which with other exercises can often cause damage.
Outwith Callanetics we are also looking to introduce Yoga and other low impact exercise programmes.
